Dusty......dusty.......blog

Yes, i know i know. It's been a while since i last updated my blog. My sincere apologies for being missing for such a long time and don't worry, this time i will not give any excuses to defend myself :P

I actually opened my blog, and rummaged through each and every post and trace it all the way back to my very first post, and i even felt nostalgic for a while (not my style). I simply couldn't believe such a long time has passed and the fact that i have just cleared my solo 5 months ago according to my previous post. Today, i am already at the near of completion of my training course.

The 21 man who came here together last year, had begun to leave..one by one...and more often than not, we find ourselves sending yet another person off as they completed the training course here in Jandakot. Yes, it's a mixture of both joy and a little bit of sadness occasion. Whenever it happens, i often feel a little sour and my heart sears having the thought of parting our ways...at least for a while. As of today, we are down to 13 person, 8 of which who have already obtained their CPL/IR and the rest are closing in obtaining them, including me.

Personally, i can be said to be a rather lucky person as i was the last person who arrived here in Jandakot, and yet i am going to complete my training slightly sooner than the rest of my course buddies due to the fact that i was selected to be in a course which exempted me from requirement to fly multi-engine aircraft and hence, shortened my training duration by about 3 months.

Having that said, i am highly hopeful that i will be able to finally complete my training in less than a month from today, and also to try to keep my blog updated again at least once every 2 weeks.

Below are some randoms snapshots over the past 9 months months which i find memorable and i hope you guys too will feel the same :) Not forget to mention a huge thanks to Bennie for supplying these photos.
